The Got Stryper Soft Plastic Bait is durable and able to be used multiple times in one sitting catch after catch. Tough enough to last through multiple fish bites. The Got Stryper soft baits are made with strong material and a unique geometry. Casts easily and quality action within the water. The Got Stryper soft baits have a lighter jighead with a heavier tail. Once the lure sinks, the balance of weight across the length of the bait means that the angler can swim it with a lifelike horizontal action across the bottom. This lure is available in 3 different sizes and weights. The Got Stryper lures are a pintail style lure. One of the strongest made soft bait lures available. With the Got Stryper soft bait lures you are able to spend more time fishing and less time re-rigging. Made with the knowledge of a designer and an expert fisherman.
Great lures for the use in catching of Striped Bass, Big Tuna, Shark and Bluefish.

My go to soft bait for stripers in the rips
May 2, 2020
Combine it with a white 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 ounce Kalin jig head and swing it through the rips.
Pros
  • Super durable I?ve literally caught 15 fish on the same bait.
Cons
  • The front is too long and tapered for a traditional jig head I cut off the first 3/8? to flatten the head.

9" is actually 8 1/2"
February 14, 2019
when i buy something for the size, i expect the the size that i paid for, not cutting corner like these,
these are way too small and way too expensive, i hit myself on the head for ordering these , i rather go out there order sav
Pros
  • looks ok, seem harder plastic than other soft lures
Cons
  • shorter than it is. 7" is actually 6.75" and 9" is actualy 8.5"

I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from but this soft plastic bait doesn't do anything. It just kinda goes straight. Thats it.

Very durable
January 9, 2018
One of the problem in fishing rubber baits like Sluggos and Hogies is that they tear so easily. These are much more durable. The action isn't quite as good as a Sluggo but I use them mostly at an inlet where subtly in the action is less of an issue.

Get It Down & Keep it Down
April 6, 2017
When fishing for stripers in heavy current keeping the bait in the strike zone can be difficult, when they're on the bottom it is critical to be able to Keep the bait down for a successful day. The PT-11 has a big profile and yet at 2oz keeps your bait in the strike zone longer.

Striper and Tuna
March 4, 2016
Good action out of these plastics because of the cuts in them. Have caught numerous striped bass on them. Looking to add them to my Joe Shute trolling lures and see how they do. A presentation that will a few fish instead of ballyhoo that could not swim correctly. They come in good colors.

I have had good luck using the smaller ones with Albies and Bonita so cant wait to try them on tuna.
Pros
  • Great Action, Good Quality and colors

Good big soft bait
January 11, 2016
I use this soft bait with a lead head that has an 8/0 hook when targeting large Stripers. I primarily use this setup from a kayak and will jig or troll them.

More action than a Slug-Go
September 30, 2015
You can walk the dog with these baits. Also, you can rig them so they wag up and down or side to side. A Slug-Go can't do that.

Can I use Stryper with fly rod/reel (7 wt rod & reel) for striper & blues from the beach? What colors and hook size and weight work best? Sorry for so many questions. Thank you for your help.

I don't believe it would work. Usually when fly fishing, the best results are with lightweight fly lures that can stay aloft with the line. The Got Stryper lures are soft plastics that wouldn't float very well when casting.
