The rod itself is sensitive and delicate, yet powerful enough tp easily land slot red fish and monster speckled trout. My friend accidentally broke my rod (I might also add, I have broken a rod or two myself). Called up GLoomis service center and replaced it for $100. I like their no hassle/ no haggle policy.The reason why I'm giving a 3 to 4 star rating is that the replacement cost has gone way up! Boooooo!

- FUN rod to fish with! Light & sensitive, yet powerful enough to land decent sized inshore fish.
Cons
- Pricey initial purchase price. Replacement cost has gone way up.

this is one of the most senitive rods i have ever felt and one of the lightest. this rod has a great tapper. if you buy this rod i recomend matching it up with a SA1000FE from shimano.
