I would be hard pressed to go on the lake without it especially with this summer's blazing sun in the northeast! I have used it multiple times so far whether still, trolling, or streaking across the water I don't have to worry about being protected. Since I got this no head "sock" or lose cap! Not fashionable, but definitely provides the protection without looking like you're about to make an "express" withdrawal at the bank or mini mart!

Hat arrived with no flaws. Have used this hat on three bright sunny fresh water fishing trips. The long bill protects the face from reflected light and the dark underside reduces
any glare. Hat is light weight and protects the face and neck. The chin strap is useful in windy weather. I would buy this hat again.

Nice hat light weight so it wears comfortably. Blocks sun well. I wear with a face cover to keep the sun off my face and neck.

You can strap it to your chin so it doesn't fly off and your neck and face are covered even in extreme heat.
