Hands down best overall lure for when I fish the Chenango and Susquehanna rivers upstate NY. Small and Large mouth Bass, Pike, and walleye have all smashed these spoons. More than anything else I’ve thrown.
They are great because, if fast paced retrieval isn't working you can let it sink for slow paced reel and not have to worry about a treble snagging something on the bottom.

Sweet Redfish lure

Down south I love this lure for redfish especially in the surf. When I use this lure in the surf I either cut down or bend down the weed guard. This lure has great action that really gets the fish going and its not only for redfish. In New Jersey I use this lure when the bluefish run is really good and they aren't pounding the topwater baits. All around simple solid lure.

- great shine (when taken care of)

- Weed guard is not always necessary.

Casts well and has good action. Hook is sharp and weed guard ( unlike unlike many spoons) is actually long enough to fulfill its purpose. Haven't caught enough fish on it yet to know whether the hook will stay attached
