Ive used this in back bays and done extremely well. Its light and needs to be used with light tackle. Hardware could definitely use some upgrades. Bigger fish will tear it apart.
Cons
  • Needs hardware upgrades.

Stripers and Blues "Eat 'Em Up!"
June 21, 2015
Stripers and blues fought over this lure. Numerous fish caught as this lure began to get torn apart. Blues chewed up the paint and then finally tore the front treble out of the snap ring. It was then I noticed the rear snap ring on the teaser treble was also ready to go.
Pros
  • Great fish finder!
Cons
  • Snap rings don't hold up to repeated assault. I recommend upgrading the snap rings if you are heading into a blitz. The day's catches were worth the $8.99 lure that I can still save.

I have caught some BIG fish with this lure. I use it at sunrise and right before sunset and I catch a lot of fish. Very good during blitzes.

Started fishing these about 10 years ago and they are great when p-nut bunker or smaller baitfish are around. I have caught some nice stripers on them. Hooks work well and never broke or bent. Best retrieve, imo, is 3-4 light pops in a row then let it sit, repeat until a fish hits. They cast well and the fish love the rattle.
