The G-Loomis IMX Pro is the rod of choice when fishing small rivers that do not allow for long rods. It comes in a lightweight package that packs power! Pair it with a short OPST, Airflo or Rio head and you will be throwing tight loops to steelhead or salmon with money left in your pocket. I own the Asquith which is G-Loomis's top level spey rod and you can for sure see the similarities in construction which make this a great buy. The cork selected for this rod is second to none and if you need more distance in your cast when switching to a larger river it is there. I would recommend this rod to anyone just getting into the sport or any well seasoned angler that is looking to add a compact straight shooter to their arsenal.
