Excellent Casting Twitching Jig Rod!

This is a great all around Jig and Worm fishing and is the rod that I currently use for salmon and steelhead guided trips in the Pacific Northwest. Guiding at Glacier Bear Lodge on the Situk River in Alaska I use it to target Coco in low-water conditions that were very close to wood and other structure.
Paired with the Shimano Bantam is an anglers dream team! This setup allows me to point out specific spots for my clients by casting first to let them know exactly where to cast. Accurate enough to reach tight pockets from 50 to 70 feet away the size of a tire.
Great remake of the GL2 that is lighter and more responsive than the previous model. Power loss is not an issue as I or my guests are able to wrestle salt fresh 15 to 18 pound coho from structure using 65lb PowerPro. I would recommend this rod to any serious bass or salmon and steelhead jig angler, you will be impressed!
