I wanted to like this box, I really did. Unfortunately, this box has been nothing short or a disaster. The top box where you could put hard baits is very hard to open and easily makes a big mess when flipping open to the bottom compartment making it very inconvenient. On top of it, somehow that top area contains heat like no box I have ever seen. Last month I lost about $400 in crankbaits, liplesses, jerkbaits and other hard baits because the heat in the box on a hot day was too heavily contained, causing the insides of the lures to expand and burst the lures. I have never had that happen with any other tackle boxes I've owned no matter that temp. I'm just astonished by it and cannot believe it

I purchased this with the idea of having all fluke gear ready with easy access. I loaded the main compartment than tried to open the top and the hinge broke. while trying to reassemble the handle came off. all in the first 30 minutes. I do not believe it would last long and at 40.00 not a disposable item. tackle direct arranged a return

The box is super sturdy and REALLY big. I didnt expect it to be so large. Well worth the money! I would buy this again and in truth plan to get a few more in the future since I have huge quantity of fishing tackels ..

However, he first time I picked it up by the handle, all ny crimp on weights and tubes and jigheads fell to the bottom. Took hours to sort out. The lid does not close tight enough to keep small items from coming out of their space. His is a definite worthless piece of equipment, and should be removed from the market.
