These rods are awesome, very light and sensitive. The microwave guides are amazing! They look cool, plus really do add distance and accuracy.

Great guides on this rod! I can cast farther so I don't spook fish while on the flats. I'm not as tired at the end of the day, and the guides allow for more sensitivity. Highly encourage people to buy rods with these guides.
Pros
  • Cast further, more sensitive, less casting fatigue.

How does this rod compare to that of a Star Seagis as far as action goes. Does it have quite a bit of backbone. I'm a huge snook fisherman and have sworn by the 8-17 Seagis model and am looking to try something different.
1 Answer
There are several different tapers available in the Aqua Dream that will produce different actions. Being that the Seagis is a relatively fast action rod, the two 8-17 lb rods in the Aqua Dream will have a much slower action because they are either moderate-fast or moderate taper. Essentially, these rods will flex more towards the center of the blank whereas the majority of the flex in the Seagis will be towards the tip.
