I use it with a 3.5 gallon bucket along with a Gamma Seal lid and it's great. Waterproof, holds lots of gear and is adjusted to a stand up working height is perfect. I also pair the bucket with a Rapala Filet and Carry Board as well many times.

A perfect addition to your fishing cart

Bought this to go on the medium sized anglers fish n mate cart. It gets my 5 gallon live bait bucket up above my cooler so that I have extra space in the cart. Helps to give you the capacity of the large fishing cart with the medium size footprint. Medium size cart fits easily in the back of my SUV while the large cart wouldn't. This bucket holder also is at a perfect working height for conveniently getting your live bait from the bucket. Awesome accessory for your beach cart.

The cart is stated to be able to hold live bait. How full of water can the bucket be filled before the bucket holders structural integrity is compromised and it can bend or break?

These carts are made tough, there may be some flexing if your cooler is totally full but the only thing that is going to flex is the handle, these carts are very structuraly sound.
