I was a little skeptical when they arrived, but these gloves are great. High quality palms and around last finger which is tremendous for tying connector knots like the Alberto and GT. Light enough that you barely notice, except for when you need them. Spent 3 straight 12-hour days, jigging off-shore in the Flounder Pounder, boated too many fish to count and these gloves held up. Washed up well in the washing machine and dried over-night in front of a fan. No funky odors or stitching failures. One recommendation when washing...be sure the velcro closures are closed tight.

The open fingers allow you to easily tie knots as needed. The additional padding give you the needed support when your jigging all day.

I bought these gloves for jigging and they work great. I ordered up a size so the material if above your middle knuckle which really helps out with blisters. Gloves are good quality and have held up well so far.

I purchased these gloves after years of using fishing tape to protect my fingers from line cuts. What a big improvement! I use them when live bait fishing, not just jigging. Only thing, make sure to thoroughly wash and clean them after each trip, otherwise they’ll get nasty.

Never had a set of gloves just for fishing, always the "Mechanics" brand or a PVC leather glove.
These fit true, and are a nice design. The half finger allows you to tie line as usual, but the PVC in the palm helps grip.
The added Kevlar (I believe) in the finger prevents the Line bite when hauling in line or wire leader.
For the price, I Love them. I've never had a set better/worse, or for a price so I can't compare to others, but I do like these.
