Good for immobilizing a toothy critter or avid gilling the fish. If you plan on releasing the fish try to support the fish horizontally as their organs aren't made to withstand gravity in the vertical position for long.

i love these grips, i never accidentally drop fish in the water with them and i'm not ruining the fish's mouth. only reason i'm giving it a 4 star is because when they're wet they are slippery ! it'd be nice to have a foam grip on it. but overall, great grips for the price

When dealing with mouthy fish, nothing better than having the right tool to handle the situation. And while you're mastering the denizens of the deep, why not sport the colors of the great US of A too? Great product with a fun color scheme. Other guys can keep their $150+ high-priced fish grippers. I'll use this one and if I catch something big enough to break the heavy-duty plastic, I'll sing God Bless America the whole time I'm ordering another All American Fish Grip from TackleDirect.
