Fish Finder Tackle Joe Shute Keel Weighted Lures are dynamic tuna lures. These lures will be able to run in a more up right position this allows the ballyhoo to track better. The head of these lures is designed with 1/2in opening in the back of it for anglers who like to use ballyhoo springs. The opening on the head of these lures allows the effective locking of ballyhoo in place. A standard pin rig or pin-less rig will also work with the head of these lures. These lures give more depth in calm water and track better in rough water.

Good product poor shipping

Joe Shute is what it is. The shipping on the other hand was a complete joke. I received my 155$ order of 6 all just thrown in a shipping bag no padding lose with a crumpled up receipt. All the tubes they came in were broken to peaces and they were all just lose smashing in to each other for the weeks transit. Thanks for a bag of trash.
Cons
  • Some one in the shipping department gives 0 F----s

Catches tuna!

Very few people have ever seen one of these on the West Coast. I trimmed / shortened the skirt to mimic a smaller profile bait. I really like the 5 oz. head, and the skirt has lots of flash.

Which Joe Shutes rigging is ideal for using with a Ronz?  Can you use the keel weighted/pin rigged (because it also allows you to use it with ballyhoo), or is it much better to use a plain rig with no pin/spring or keel weight?
1 Answer
You can do either a use the keel weighted/pin rigged method or plain rig with no pin/spring or keel weight. However, the best method for rigging would be to rig without a pin for the Ron Z tails. This will allow the lure to sit flush against the back of the lure head better. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
