FINS Original PRT is a soft, flexible braid with a very tuff urethane coating, a great choice for finesse fishing. Flipping and pitching into heavy structure where durability and strength are paramount is one of the many situations where PRT shines. FINS PRT is the current state of the art braid produced using traditional braid architecture: 30 pound PRT is the diameter of 8 pound monofilament, 20 pound like 6 pound mono, etc. Many experienced braid users find PRT to their liking as it has a familiar feel but with a durability that exceeds their expectations regarding color retention and fray resistance.

Awesome Braid

I have used the Fins Braid now on all of my reels. I have tried all of them out and they work great. Same company that makes Power Pro but i feel it lasts longer. Haven't had an issue with it and been using it now for 5 years.

Great braid

This is the first time I have used FINS. It has held up well so far and hasn't dulled in color like I've seen other green braids I've used.

Quality Braid

Included with my new Avet SX reel, this line is a pleasant surprise. Nice handling while spooling and casts very well. Color seems less prone to transfer to my hands than some other brands that use darker dye.

Pretty Good Quality

Haven't used it much but for half of a season and it faded a little. The green color is a lighter green, not a dark.

Good braid

This item came free with my AVET. Performs as well as Powerpro. This particular line was a bit too light in color for my taste. I prefer a darker moss green.

I have never used braided line before. I live on the texas coast and fish for redfish where there are a lot of oyster reefs and if I use mono line it is always being cut and I lose my fish. a guide I know told me to use Fins. I usually fish with 14lb test line. do I use a 10, 20 or larger line? thank you.
1 Answer
Good choice. 14lb mono has a larger diameter than 20lb braid. 20lb Fins has the diameter of 6lb mono, So make sure you have plenty of line or backing when spooling the Fins braided line on your reel.
