Super strong and versatile
June 10, 2020
I landed a 135 lb bluefin tuna from an anchored boat (San Diego boat sportfishing) with this rod medium heavy casting rod rated 30-50. Two hours fight and the rod bent enough that I thought it wold break, but it did not break. This rod is amazingly super strong and almost unbreakable. Only complaint is the fore grip handles too short. I suggest getting a heavy rod when fighting tuna over 80 lbs.

Well Built
May 21, 2015
Well built Trolling Rod. I like the performance of this rod, and it looks great. The only exception for me is the diameter of the EVA Butt Handle... its to thin for my big hands. Other than the thin handle grips, I like it. I will eventually replace the EVA grips with thicker ones... my Fin-Nor Marquesa is a perfect fit for this Rod.
Pros
  • Well built, Looks great.
Cons
  • Butt Handle (grips) are too thin for big hands.
