Reel is Awesome, Rod not so much, but hey still cheaper than buying the reel alone!
May 18, 2020
The reel is amazing. Drag is smooth. Clean but rugid look. The rod to me doesnt pair well with the reel well. Considering the reel is capable of 23 lbs of drag the rod wouldn't support it. I'll be pairing it with another rod. Still a good buy at 79.99 considering the reel alone is $99.
Pros
  • Reel and Price
Cons
  • Rod

Great combo!

For less than the price of a reel, you get the combo.....sweet
Pros
  • LT40 is a great reel. Not the smoothest or noise free, has a little wobble, but great and acceptable based on price
Cons
  • Some wobble, slight hissing noise is noticeable while reeling

This reel would not come with a Fin Nor box, they are shipped to us from Fin Nor attached to the rod. We remove and ship in a cardboard box for protection during shipping.
