Got this rod on sale for a really good price. The fenwick quality is outstanding as usual. However, the reatil price of this rod when compared to the HMG series in my opinion would not justify this rod vs. purchasing a HMG instead at half the retail price of this one if you are on a budget. But as far as this rod goes there is nothing to complain about. Pair it with a 2500-3000 class reel and you got a keeper.
