Fathom Offshore Coated Fish Weights feature an exclusive no-slip, no-scratch coating and are a must have when dredge fishing or as a downrigger ball. These weights are both functional and customizable to any color you choose and are available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 lb lead.

Fathom Offshore Coated Fish Weights are shaped like fish, have flared eyelets for extra strength and the hydrodynamic shape creates a drag-free track in the water while maintaining a low position for your dredge or baits.

How much of a difference does color make? Sure, I like the blue ones , but? I mainly fish Oregon lakes for Kokanee and Trout and the Oregon coast for Salmon!
1 Answer
Color should not matter too much for your application. These are designed for offshore dredge fishing for marlin and tuna, so they typically match them up to the color of the dredge. Black if you dont want to draw much extra attention to your spread, blue if you do.
