Fat Cow Jig Strips are scented with squid oil. These strips feature skinny tails and bright coloring. The flat design helps to keep your lure suspended in the strike zone longer. The design of these strips helps to decrease the sink rate of your lure as well. To use, simply attach your lure of choice and fish as you normally would. These scented strips are perfect for surfcasting bucktails, jigging, trolling tubes, and umbrella rigs. The container fits in your pork rind holder.

Bucktails
March 30, 2020
One of my favorite baits to use to tip my bucktails for stripers and bluefish. They have great action and more importantly they have an amazing scent that the fish love. I think that these could also be used for fluke but I have not tried them for that yet.

Great alternative to pork rind
September 12, 2016
This item is a great alternative to pork rinds. I cut the strips in 2 and make nice thin strips depending on the size of my bucktail. These are also very durable and able to withstand some blue fish bites.

Will the squid scent work for landlocked stripers?
1 Answer
If squid is their natural forage in the area you are fishing this should work very well.
