Here are the measurements for the rotating holders: Rotating Measures  5.6” long x 4.5” wide, with an 8.5” deep tube.

You are able to lock these swivel mounts into different positions. You simply click and hold the black button on the top of the swivel mount and rotate the rod to the position you desire, then once you release the button the swivel mount will be locked into that position
