well i received my grip and scale combination made by evolution and was immediately impressed by the the beefy construction which is good for a long day of fishing i had a plasic lip grip which failed after surf fishing which can be demanding on your equipment the gorilla grip from evolution looks like it can take a beating and i sure will put it to the test.overall very happy with this purchase just wish a came with a sheath
