Replacement latch for Engel cooler

This was a replacement latch for my Engel cooler. The previous latch had broken. The cooler has seen a lot of use, and this latch out performs most of the other coolers I’ve owned. For that reason I will still give 5 stars.
Pros
- Strong. Holds lid tight. Affordable and easy to replace.
Cons
- Previous latch wore out.

I ordered the replacement latch for my Engel cooler, the original had deteriorated, the part was here unusually quick. I replaced the latch on both sides, now th eice lasts much longer since I am getting a tight seal.

The replacement latches work great, much better than the worn out and cracked latches they replaced on my cooler. The lid seals much more securely now. Make sure and keep the screws holding the old latches because the replacement latches don't come with any. Happy with my purchase.

The only problem with your coolers are the latches and now it's gonna cost $35 to replace them in my coolers. Jeezo.
