The Egret Baits Vudu Mullet Lures are the perfect imitation of a small finger mullet. These lures are great for fishing for trout, reds, snook, and other inland species. These lures are rigged with VMC saltwater 4.0 hook and internal 1/4oz weight for greater casting distance. They are medium sink lures and work best with medium retrieve, and stop n go retrieve.

I haven't had a chance to throw this beauty yet but I tossed it in the pool to check out the Action and its Phenomenal. Im sure this will catch fish. Hardware and hooks seem subpar though im gonna change those out. The material is like the Z-man Elaztech it seems pretty tough and cant be stored with other plastics

Not a huge fan of the hooks, but everything else about this little lure is great. Has enough weight to cast and looks incredible in the water. Need a size bigger if they make it.

I was thinking about swapping the treble hooks out with inline hooks. Any thoughts about what size would be best?

Hi Jay, I would recommend a VMC Inline Single Hook in 5/0 size. https://www.tackledirect.com/vmc-ils-inline-single-hook-5-0.html The slightly larger hook gap will allow for better hooksets and less missed fish without compromising the action of the lure.
