Ego pliers

They look nice and are light weight, however the jaws on mine were crooked and did not close flush. To me when you are spending this kind of money on pliers, you would think that things like this would be caught before leaving factory. I sent them back and spent a few extra bucks on Van Staals.

- QC on the pair that i had were less then stellar.

heavy duty pliers, been using them for saltwater and just a quick wash and they are ready to go, never oiled them for almost a year now and still as good as new

- no rust even after heavy use in saltwater, just quick rinse and good as new. a set will last a lifetime

The sheath has two nylon straps that you would feed your belt through.

These are not split ring pliers. Most split ring pliers have a curved hook at the front of the pliers to open the split ring, these do not.
