Great design for hookset and bait retention, and very important size when fishing smaller bodied baits. It's very frustrating and wasteful to try and force a big hook into a bait that is too small for it.

These hooks are good. very sharp, only downfall is that they don't have second snell opening for the stronger hook sets.
