The Duckett Fishing Inshore Series Spinning Rods are the product of countless hours of research and testing. After traveling from coast to coast and consulting with some of the best inshore fisherman in the country, the pros at Duckett Fishing have developed the ultimate series of inshore rods. Fishing techniques vary from bay to bay, and inshore fisherman in different areas may demand very different characteristics out of their rods. Because of this, the Ducket Fishing Inshore Series features a wide variety of lengths, powers, and tapers to suit any inshore angler's needs. At the core of the Inshore Series is Duckett Fishing's signature Sensi-Touch Blank made from the highest quality multi-modulus graphite. These blanks feature a low-res carbon combination for the perfect strength to weight ratio to endure the rigors of inshore fishing. These rods feature plasma ion coated guides with Zirconia inserts with a triple coated thread wrap to reduce the chance of saltwater corrosion. All metal components are titanium coated to withstand exposure to saltwater environments, including a proprietary carbon reel seat with titanium coated hood and titanium plated tip for added strength and corrosion resistance.

Very disappointed in the quality

My buddy and I purchased 4 of these for inshore spinning. All of them have guide issues. Burrs in the guides cutting braid or the eyelets falling out first time out. Called Duckett and they wouldnt do much except send new eyes to us. They did mention these have been discontinued and improved. What a waste of $$$

What is the lure rating on this Duckett Heavy spinning rod?  What size reel would pair best with it?  Thank you
1 Answer
Duckett does not provide the lure ratings for this rod model, it is listed that the MF rated model have a lure rating of 3/8-3/4. This leads me to assume the H model you are inquiring about would be approximately 3/4-1.5oz.

I would pair this reel with a 4000 or 5000 size Shimano Stradic FL or similar reel of your choice
