The Duckett Fishing Inshore Series Casting Rods are the product of countless hours of research and testing. After traveling from coast to coast and consulting with some of the best inshore fisherman in the country, the pros at Duckett Fishing have developed the ultimate series of inshore rods. Fishing techniques vary from bay to bay, and inshore fisherman in different areas may demand very different characteristics out of their rods. Because of this, the Ducket Fishing Inshore Series features a wide variety of lengths, powers, and tapers to suit any inshore angler's needs. At the core of the Inshore Series is Duckett Fishing's signature Sensi-Touch Blank made from the highest quality multi-modulus graphite. These blanks feature a low-res carbon combination for the perfect strength to weight ratio to endure the rigors of inshore fishing. These rods feature plasma ion coated guides with Zirconia inserts with a triple coated thread wrap to reduce the chance of saltwater corrosion. All metal components are titanium coated to withstand exposure to saltwater environments, including a proprietary carbon reel seat with titanium coated hood and titanium plated tip for added strength and corrosion resistance.

At the time I was looking to match my Accurist S3Blue, with a fast action Lt.Blue rod, after searching I came across this. I'm told it has the power and action to be a contender for my inshore salt fishing. Will put it to use when bucktailing in fluke country, Nj. It's 7'6" which makes it difficult for traveling to Florida, but need to test it out come April in NJ.
Pros
  • Gwindreat action and power to throw 3/8oz - 2oz lure. Lt.blue wrapping and blank are sexy. Guides are kigan to reduce wind knots and better casting. Great kayak rod.
Cons
  • If only 2pc. I could fly with her. I have a boozaka rod tube but awkward in an airport.
