Inspired by techniques commonly used on Cherokee Lake in East Tennessee, the Doomsday Tackle C-Shad is a uniquely designed finesse swimbait that excels when fished vertically on a jig head or drop shot. The C-Shad is ideal for pairing with heavy jig heads to reach deep dwelling bass. The small finesse boot tail gives the bait a subtle flutter with minimal rod tip action that will coax finicky and lethargic fish into feeding. With its deep bellied profile, these baits are a lifelike shad imitation, unlike most other drop shot baits that have a much thinner worm or minnow profile. The C-Shad features 3D Doomsday eyes and a hi-flash mylar insert for an attractive shine that won't "over do it" in finesse fishing scenarios. The mylar belly flap can be removed if anglers desire a more streamlined minnow-type profile.
