The Dockside Bait and Tackle Vortex Shad Soft Swim Baits are designed with a new dorsal fin showing anglers exactly where the hook should be placed. This lure also has a notch in the tail giving extra swimming motion. The tail is shaped with a V, hence the nickname V-tail. This lure is a gulf coast favorite.

I use dockside spartacus for night fishing for redfish, trout and flounder. It works good. Would definitely recommend. Just use smaller jig heads than strike king. They hang on everything!
