Overall the 735C FH has been a great rod to use for targeting large bass, aka "Toads." The craftsmanship is outstandingly well done. The rod is very well balanced ( paired with a Lews pro), the blank is very sensitive, the guides are top notch, the reel seat is comfortable, and the overall weight is very light for its size, even with the reel on it. I did break one foot of the tip section "high sticking", this is a graphite blank and "high sticking" graphic isn't forgiving. I sent the rod back to Dobyns (accourding to the warranty) and a few days later I had a new rod. The price is good for what you get... keep in mind this is built for professional use. They have cheaper offerings that are just as well thought out.
