For the price it seemed like a no-brainer. I have been using this for a little while now and it casts well and I had no immediate issues. As I have started using my reels again that it’s on now I have had breakages where I was using much less than full drag on my reels and it must be parting at half or less than the 60lb rating that I am using. I guess you get what you pay for.

Spooled up 3 Tuna reels with this braid. The real test will be how it holds up a year from now. Love the orange color for kite fishing!! I threaded 10 ft of 150# fluorocarbon leader into this hollow core. This was pretty easy to thread the braid and the connection is solid.

First time I’ve used hollow core. It’s cheaper in price than most I found so I got it. One issue I have was there were spots that looked melted (darker and harder) almost. The line didn’t break at the spots, and I could still feed mono inside so I used it. Held up to 4 mahi and a tuna so far.
