Great price point for good quality 16 strand 80lb hollow-core braid fishing line. Nice to have the color options available for line. Used this blue colored 80lb line to fill Penn VISX 12 and Okuma Mak SEA 15T and finished with end loop splice for 25 to 50’ fluorocarbon wind on leaders. Some have complained of splicing / threading issues but I didn’t find any making the end loops. I just need to get on the water to see how it fishes / and lasts compared to my JB hollow-core filled reels.

Compared to other hollow core that I’ve used in the past, this one has shown to be more consistent and easy to work with.

Diamond Gen 3 hollow core gets the job done, for half the price. Spools nicely and doesn't dig.

Very strong and reliable braid with a nice color!

I purchased the 130 lb. and 80 lb. blue hollow core and have been very pleased with it. It splices easy, especially if you wet the line a little bit before you run the needle through it. While spooling this line on my reel I didn't find any imperfections in the line at all. Just make sure to thoroughly rinse your line with fresh water after you use it in salt water.

This line is a good value compared to PowerPro or Jerry Brown. When spooling my reel there was virtually no dye or chemical residue. This line holds up well to its strength rating. One thing I have to ding this line on is its thickness, it is thicker than other comparable line.

I am a professional fishing guide and I have fished may brands of line through out my 20 years of guiding and this has been one of the major let downs in line I’ve experienced. So Diamond does make some incredible lines, line the Gen 8 solid core is exceptionally strong. So I figured I’d try the Gen 8 hollow core in the same pound test on my sturgeon rods, this was a big mistake. I’m not sure how they figure strength of lime at Diamond but one would think it should take the same power to break 130 hollow core as 130 solid core, but I can tell you the solid core is far stronger the 130lb hollow core I ordered I’d say breaks at around half the pull of the solid core. Long story short I used this line for one day and had every fish of size break me off something that would not have happened with the solid core or any of the other brands of braids lol be used. If you buy this buy it twice as heavy as you think you’ll need.

I don't know if there's better hollowcore out there because this is all I have ever used, and I have no reason to try anything else.

Zero complaints. 60lb works great with 30-80lb mono leaders.

From 80 to 100 to 130 lbs. This product was made for me, I have been on fire since I switched to this line an all source of bi game and small too!

Very strong and spools on well

Spooled on very easy, very strong line.

I have this in 60 & 100. It takes a needle very easily and is really durable. The only complaint, and it’s minor, is that every few hundred yards there is a little extra color/paint on the line that takes an extra second to get through without the needle poking out of the line.

I getting ready for a trip to Venice La and i need 3,000yds Momoi diamond mono and 3,000 of momoi diamond hollow core braid at 1st i was going to order on-line but wasn't sure it would get to me on time so i called in and Bernie answers the phone and i tell him my situation and time line, Bernie works all the angles redeeming some of my points splitting into 2 orders product coming from different locations and BAM i got what i needed!!!!
