Solidly built but one suggestion

This starboard rack is solid & should be around long after I'm gone. Holds rods with decent spacing between but one star deducted as quite often when putting a rod in or out of the holder, that rod tip will brush the rod next to it causing that adjacent rod to slide out of the upper rack on the slick starboard & then fall to the ground if you don't catch it with fast reflexes.
My suggestion to Deep Blue would be to add flexible rubber tabs such as those in the j-hook holder in the photo below to keep the rods from accidentally slipping out of the top rack.

- Rods easily fall out when putting in or taking out adjacent rods if not very careful to keep rod perfectly vertical.
