Unlike aluminum measuring sticks, the 42 inch Deep Blue Starboard Fish Ruler will not mark your boat or rattle. This ruler is also engraved instead of printed, so the lettering will never wear out or fade away. Use it loose or mount to your dock or boat, measure fish, cover old decals or holes. Well Made and Clear, Large Numbers!

Purchased the Black version. This is a well made piece of King Starboard type material. The white portion of material (inner) is sandwiched by the black material (outer) and vice-versa for the White version. The black and white contrast is very easy to read. (numbers are white).
Just drill your holes and mount. You can also use a strong waterproof double sided mounting tape, but I wanted it more secure so I used three #10 pan head sheet metal screws into fiberglass. Remember to pre drill and countersink your holes so the gelcoat does not chip. I like to use 3M 4000UV in screw holes....especially if the fiberglass is cored.
Product should last a lifetime!
