6’6”MH feels great
August 10, 2020
I bought the 6’6” MH casting rod and it feels great in hand and good backbone, not stiff at all. I mainly fish creeks and rivers so a 6’6” does me really good when you have tree overhang all over. I put my Lew’s Classic Pro 7.5:1 on it with 30lb. Power Pro braid, just WOW! Finally have me a good frogging/jigging rod. This replaced the 7’ Falcon H rod I had for frogging/jigging.
Pros
  • Feels comfortable
  • Good backbone
  • Not stiff
Cons
  • Has slightly bigger guides than I thought

I love mine and want to buy a second one for a friend! It’s perfect for kayak fishing and I love it’s a one piece. Definitely recommend! Love the fact you can use 4-12 lb. line.
Pros
  • Perfect length for kayak fishing. One piece.
Cons
  • None.

Amazing

I have gained a new respect for Daiwa rods. Today I was fishing my home lake ( lake st Clair) when I was fishing I hooked into an 8 1/4 lb channel cat. This rod would not break, would not crack, nothing it horses this fish in as if it were a Yellow Perch. I was using the 6 ft 6 medium fast bait fast rod and a was very pleased.
Pros
  • Every thing. Sensitivity, comfortability and strength
Cons
  • None

Good Value

I fished with these rods on a charter down in florida. They handled everything from ladyfish to snook. Great action. Nice finish. Very good value for the money.
I bought two and so did my brother.
