I have one of these in the spinning version and I liked it so much I got a conventional one to make a kick ass offshore combo that can handle pretty much anything!
Pros
  • Great lightweight rod with plenty of backbone to bring'em right up.

Good jig rod

Like this rod for diamond jigging for stripers. A little to soft for bottom fishing, but good for what its meant, for jigging.

Will this pair with a saltist Ld-50, for yellow fin tuna
1 Answer
I believe it would pair nicely, for yellow fin, you could probably also drop down in weight on the rod as well.  You might not need to go so heavy with your set up and it might give you a nicer fight and more sensitivity.
