Great for heavy weighted bunker spoons. Not super noodley but still allows the spoon to get the right action.

Solid rods for the price

Under $100 you're not going to find many comparable rods better than these, probably none. I have two different rods from this line, and both are very strong, and have a great feel.

I just got the DAI-2225. I haven�€™t used it yet I paired it with Diawa BG 8000.

Would this rod be paired well with a Daiwa 7000c saltwater fishing (pier, surf and boat)? If you have a better suggestion - please let me know. Also, please recommend a line for it.

We carry a Major Craft7’ medium finesse baitcastingrod rated for lures ? to ? oz lures and 6-12 lb line, but do not carry an ultralight/medium light variant
