The Daiwa Saltist Inshore Casting Rods are a versatile series of rods that anglers up and down the coast will find suitable for an enormous variety of species and applications. The Saltist Inshore makes the perfect "all around boat rod" for anglers who target different species with different techniques throughout their season. Northeast fisherman will find these rods perfect for jigging bucktails for ocean fluke and seabass, while Florida anglers will love them for live lining over reefs for grouper, snapper, jacks, and more. Featuring blanks made with Daiwa's High Volume Fiber (HVF) Technology, these rods are constructed with a low-resin, high modulus carbon graphite material with more fibers per unit area than other rods in its class. This method of construction results in superior strength, lighter weight, and enhanced sensitivity. All models are equipped with Fuji aluminum oxide guides and are fitted with comfortable split-grip EVA handles.

Features:

  • High Modulus carbon graphite blanks with Daiwa exclusive HVF low-resin material
  • EVA Split-Grip Handle
  • Fuji Aluminum Oxide guides
  • Fuji reel seat
  • Limited 5 Year Warranty

Which model should I get for my quantum accurst for fluking?
1 Answer
Hi Tim, We recommend going with the 7ft Medium Heavy for bay and near shore fluking and the Heavy for ocean fluking. Both will pair well with the Quantum Accurist. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!
