Best slow jigging rod in the world

This is the best slow pitch jigging rods in the market. Super light weight, lot of power, Soft and sensitive action, l can feel deep water small bites. The best part is this rod automatically makes perfect jig fall action. I’m big fan for Simano reel, but Daiwa rods are better than Simano in my opinion. Daiwa Rods Designer Mr, Togash makes the best rods. Very Japanese style rods.

I am trying to get an understanding why the rods are so short at 61 when all other manufactures are like 68 for reference my Temple Reef Levitate rod which is a 150-400gram rod. I was considering one of these Daiwa rods for my small jigs like 80-150gram Burt can not get past the short length.

Hi Travis, According to Daiwa, The Saltiga Slow pitch models are designed with traditional Japanese slow pitch technique specifications. The 6’1” length allows for optimal performance of the rod to effectively work traditional slow-pitch style jigs. Slow pitch rods are not designed for casting so they need not be longer than 6 ft to achieve the optimal action. They are also not designed to be used to fight fish but rather as tool to work the jig. It might be nice to have a longer rod but it would offset the ability of the rod to give the jig the proper action. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.

The Daiwa Saltiga Slow Pitch jigging rods are not spiral or 'acid' wrapped. All guides run straight up the blank in line with real seat. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
