Seeking to bring Daiwa's proprietary Light and Tough concept to anglers of all levels, The Daiwa Revros LT offers superior performance features at an incredible value. The Revros LT is built around Daiwa's Light and Tough platform, offering a rigid frame built from lightweight composite material. It features precision cut DigiGears and Daiwa's signature Air Rotor for improved rotation and reduced weight.

Daiwa Technology Found In Revros LT Spinning Reels :

  • LT Concept - The LT family of reels boast a smaller, lighter, more compact body which is paired with a larger DigiGear for the ultimate combination of Light and Tough.
  • Air Rotor - The Air Rotor weighs up to 15% less than ordinary rotor designs. Its unique shape reduces unnecessary weight while distributing stress more evenly throughout the rotor for maximum strength.
  • DigiGear - The all-new DigiGear is precision machine cut and polished. This results in unmatched efficiency, better transfer of energy, and maximum smoothness.

Better than the Fuego LT I have
February 26, 2020
Says its 8.8 oz(I got the 3k model) but it feels later. It also performs better than the Fuego LT that I have which is supposedly a better reel on paper but imo Revros > Fuego.

I have many reels and this is by far the smoothest, mist well balanced reel in it's price range. Very nice!

Very smooth retrieve and drag, and for an affordable price. Glad they built this just as well as the previous model.

Find a better $50 reel - you can't.

I bought two 1000 size for my 6' light crappie jigging rods. The reels are smooth and solid, and I love that Daiwa has not removed the anti-reverse switch (unlike brand S), because sometimes you just need to back-reel, ya know? I've only had them a couple weeks but have smoothly hauled in a few slab crappie and a couple decent spotted bass that hit the crappie jig. Drag is smooth and the reel cranks 'em in. Nice. I like the color scheme, it looks good on my Eagle Claw Powerlite rods. I have another nice rod coming in and will be buying one of these in the 2500 size for it. Me likey.
Pros
  • Smooth, good drag, anti-reverse switch, feels solid.
Cons
  • Haven't found any yet

Is the 2000 model just the 1000 with a larger spool? I'm setting up a light action rod for trout spinning with agressive lures. Spinners and jerkbaits.
1 Answer
Yes they are going to be almost the same size with different size spools
