Incorporating a slew of proprietary Daiwa rod technologies, the Daiwa Rebellion Casting Rods are crafted with the looks, specs, and features of high end custom rods, yet are priced affordably. The Rebellion series was born from the desire to step outside the norms of typical bass rods. All models are built on blanks with Braiding-X technology. This method of constructing blanks with an outer layer of carbon tape in a crossing diagonal pattern dramatically improves power, operability, and sensitivity. Also outfitted with Daiwa's X45 Technology, these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength, sensitivity and hook setting power. The Rebellion differs from standard carbon bass rods in that the carbon fiber compound used to build the blank contains significantly less resin. Daiwa's HVF (High Volume Fiber) compound contains a high concentration of carbon fibers, resulting in a rod that is lighter and more sensitive. Sensitivity is further enhanced by an Air Sensor reel seat built using a carbon fiber material that also helps reduce overall weight. With an array of lengths and tapers to accommodate technique specific bass fishing approaches, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Rods are ready to defy your expectations of what an affordable rod can be.

Design and Appearance look good could be considered a higher end rod cosmetically speaking
Light and cast great dishes several different lures with ease
Fished on some extremely windy days as well casting was still great
Very nice rod at this price point
Do recommend
Pros
  • Light
  • Cosmetically sweet looking rod
  • Cast lures well
  • A positive with the 3/16 -1 oz lure weight range
Cons
  • No hook keeper
  • On some of the lures used the rod felt a little stiff for a medium power rating closer to a medium + power
