It's a good rod but the reel seat on it is very small? Which is confusing for such a big rod? A Penn 2 pursuit 5000 doesn't fit??

I was wondering what size Daiwa BG would you use for this rod? Fishing for snook, cobia, tarpon. Throwing jigs and plugs from beach but also from boat. PLan to use 50-65 lb braid.

The Daiwa BG 4500 or 5000 will pair well with the Daiwa PRIN80HXS Proteus Inshore Spinning Rod for the application you will be using the combo for.
