Awesome Rod

This is my first light tackle rod I have ever purchased. Couldn't ask for anything better. I have it paired with an Exceler 1000 LT. I mainly use it for crappie fishing and have no complaints so far. The ultra lightness of the rods makes it ideal for fishing all deal with no wrist pain.
Pros
  • Lightweight and sturdy

Love mine

I've got the 701mxs and I use it for light tackle surf fishing. Good feel when the fish attack in the waves. Balance and weight just feels right. The hook holder catches the line on some casts, but that's probably more with my technique than fault of the rod. It's nice to have it there when I need it. Was actually on here looking for a longer version.
