Here is the kind of pure ultralight excitement that makes a Bluegill feel like a Bluefin. This setup comes with its own ready to travel, ultra-compact hard case. It's a perfect size for tucking in your luggage, backpacking, or just keeping handy under the car seat.

Works better then I expected . Bought one to keep in my truck to fish for small fry and stocked trout . Fits under the seat and fast set up when out and run in to ponds and streams here in Tennessee . First time out with it caught my breakfast fresh . Don't pack in or hike anymore at my age but would recommend it to those that do to stream fish . Thinking about picking one up for all my grand kids and great grand kids for Christmas as well . I do recommend it .
Pros
  • LIGHT AND COMPACT , VERY EASY TO STORE IN CAR OR TRUCK IN PROTECTED CASE .
Cons
  • None so far .

I bought the 2 piece model with a 4ft 6in rod and the 500c reel 40 years ago and its still going strong. You catch a 8 or 9 inch gill on 2lb. test and it feels like a 3lb, bass!!! my first ultra-light purchase at age 16 and that's all I fish with now, thanks to this awesome "LITTLE" set-up I have been a ultra-light freak ever since. I highly suggest you purchase one , you will have a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoy! THANKS AGAIN DIAWA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros
  • small and compact tons of fun nice and light for hours of fishing
