Fast delivery .
December 16, 2020
Exactly as ordered and delivered within a week which is impressive given the prevailing world conditions at this time .
Pros
  • Fits the purpose which I bought it for .
Cons
  • Level wind is not as good as it could be . Biased to one side during retrieval . Just one more thing to be aware of when fighting big fish .

What rod do you recommend for the lexa
1 Answer
Hi Frank, We recommend looking at the Ocean Tackle International Pitch Black Inshore series 7ft conventional or acid wrap rod in medium heavier heavy depending on your application ( https://www.tackledirect.com/ocean-tackle-international-pitch-black-inshore-rods.html ), or the Jigging World Night Ranger in the 7ft heavy casting depending on your application ( https://www.tackledirect.com/jigging-world-night-ranger-rods.html ). Is the Lexa spool braid ready or do I need a little tape?
1 Answer
Hello Tom,

For the Daiwa Lexa HD you'll want to add a little strip of electrical tape or a small amount of mono backing.
