Excellent rod for the price

I will purchase a 7ft model. Lots of backbone, but very sensitive. Lightweight, but very sturdy. Plus it’s very good looking. Perfect for wading creeks for smallmouth and white bass

Great little rod!
November 6, 2015
I bought this rod to teach my little cousin to fish! It has worked out great catching small snappers and juvenile porgies here in NY waters. Great for tossing small spoons and other variety of small lures. Overall great product and its handle decent fish. For an ultralight its decently price! Recommended!
Pros
  • Great size for small children, thin, lightweight. Pretty good backbone for a ultralight. Priced just right

Fantastic Spinning Rod for the price
June 16, 2014
The is a great spinning rod. I have the 7 foot LAG702MFS model which is rated Fast / Medium / Lure: 1/8 - 3/4 / Line 5 - 15. It has really good back bone and really good flexibility in the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the rod. It casts great and is very sensitive to the touch. I can highly recommend this rod as a good all-around rod for the kind of fish most of us will be fishing for. Let me just say that I know you cannot compare a $40 spinning rod to the likes of a $500 spinning rod but for those of us who are just regular folks and we don't need and can't afford those $500 rods - I would not hesitate to recommend this rod. If you are shopping anywhere in the less that $100 to $125 range, this rod deserves your consideration.
Pros
  • Great rod, period. Not just great rod for the price, but it would still be a great rod at twice the price.
Cons
  • None that I have found.

Great rod for the price

A great rod for the price. I paired it with a lews spinning reel and the action has been great. I would have given it 5 stars but it's still a new rod and I want to see how well it will hold up through out the year.
Pros
  • The price.
