The Daiwa Kage Bass Rods are a well rounded series of rods that deliver state of the art construction as well as sleek, clean cosmetics. Anglers ranging from the most serious of weekenders to seasoned pros would do well to have their hands on one. The Kage Series bolsters a total of 14 rods in its lineup, including 4 casting rods, 4 spinning rods, and 6 heavy duty technique specific rods for swimbaiting, A-rigs or umbrella rigs, and an absolute broom stick Magnum Spoon rod. All rods feature a sleek matte black finish with fine wrap accents. Perhaps one of their best features is the use of high tech Fuji Faz Lite Ring Guides. These guides are a silky smooth, braid friendly, tangle proof guide that not only look pretty but are built to take a beating. All models are covered by a limited 5 year warranty from the manufacturer. With flawless construction, beautiful cosmetics and practical task specific designs, any serious bass angler would be proud to put a rod of this quality on the deck of the boat.

Do these rods have SVF or HVF graphite? Is this lineup supposed to replace the Zillion lineup? Just trying to get an idea of the level of rod this is. Also wondering about weight of these rods and how they compare to the Zillion, Cronos, and Tatulas? Thanks, William

Sorry, we unfortunately have not yet received these rods to know if they are SVF or HVF. Daiwa does not yet specify which one the rod is either. These rods are brand new, they are not replacing the zillion. We also can not compare the weight between this rod and the Cronos or Tatula's since have not yet received it.
