I'm a long-time devotee of Power Pro but tried this line out because of its availability and the grey color (for freshwater applications). It compares well with Power Pro.

Used it for flounder and back bay striper. Fishing the local reef sites the 15lb held up fine w/ 8 ounces and 7.8lb flounder. Never had any breakoffs other then when snagged. I will buy again

Good Braid

This is a good braid and I had it spooled to a Daiwa Bg 5000. The spooling was done by tackle direct. I have 50# which I doubt any fish can break.

After using the Samurai Braid for a while, I just found it extremely underwhelming for the price. However, this braid is amazing at the price point! It's supple, tough, and casts great. If you want to spend just a little more on braided line I think the J-Braid Grand is totally worth it.

The line is amazing. One of my brand new pliers with braid cutting edge has difficulty with this but everything else snips like butter.

- The 3-8 day if not in stock is a joke. It took more then 3 weeks to get it.
