The main purpose to buying this is so that you have a roll of line that lasts you for some years without having to stock back up. If you own multiple 8000 reel and do heavy surf fishing, this is ideal.

Great price for a quality product

I purchased this item on sale as "cheap" backing for "kelp cutting" bass reel. (It was less expensive to buy this whole spool rhan having my reel spooled at a tackle shop).

The first day we took this reel out to catch fish to make fish tacos. I hooked a Thresher! Very happy to say. after a 20+ minute fight we had enough protein to feed several families fish tacos.

The line performed flawlessly helping me land a 70 pound fish on bass gear!

excellent pricing and quality. most of large spool comes with 1500yards but this was double the amount.

Line is really strong and abrasion resistance, also it smooth for being a 4 strand braid, but the coating wears off really fast.

Thin, stiff braid that has held up and has made tying knots a breeze!
