Nice rod

I've used these a few times offshore in FL for small and medium-size fish with no issues. I think it's a great deal at the $50 sale price, I'm glad I picked up 3 of them for guest on the boat. You'll probably want to go with a little smaller spinning reel with these, the 5000 series reels a little big for the handle.

I saw the truck sale TD was having on these rods so I bought three. One woman's version for my wife it's light as a feather and easy to handle, and two heavy fast for me and my father in law. Great action light and easy to handle. Just a flick of the wrist and I get great cast distance with no fatigue. I also love the feel of the full cork handle.
